All About The Chihuahua:
Pictured is the Long Coated
Variety
The Long Coated Chihuahua (pictured) is
better suited to resist temperary changes in
temperature without getting chilled, so they
can venture outside for a few minutes to go
potty.  Short coated Chihuahuas cannot
tollerate even 5 minutes outdoors during our
winter, so they have to be litter-box trained.
These dogs can be so tiny, need all the help
they can get with navigating the dangers of
the average home!
Long coated Pet Female
Weight 2-6 lbs for showing, in reality range from
about 1 1/2 to 9 lbs.  Possible Colors: Every
possible color found in dogs.

Most common colors are Black/tan, Sable, Tan, and
White with Tan spots.  Also, recently there has
been more blues and brindles, as well as the
Mearle color coming on the scene.  Be sure and
research health problems found in this breed and
address your questions to the breeders.

Please consider that the tiniest of dogs (under 2
